I teach the skills that matter most in emergencies. Whether it’s a choking child, a collapsed coworker, or a medical emergency at home, you’ll leave with practical, hands-on knowledge that you will be ready to use.

About Roslyn

Roslyn Pittman, Owner and Certified Red Cross Instructor

I’m Roslyn Pittman — a CPR and First Aid instructor with a calm teaching style, a community-focused heart, and a mission to help people feel ready when life gets unpredictable. I don’t believe in fear-based learning or overwhelming medical jargon. I believe in patience, clarity, and creating a space where real people can build real confidence. My classes are hands-on, judgment-free, and rooted in the idea that everyone deserves to know how to help — parents, grandparents, babysitters, teens, workplaces, and anyone who wants to show up for the people they love. I teach because I care deeply about my community, and I want you to leave every training session knowing you’re capable, prepared, and stronger than you think.

My Story

There’s a moment in every emergency when everything
goes quiet — and you realize how unprepared most people feel.

I’ve had moments like that, moments that changed me.

One Saturday afternoon, I was headed to a day party when I came upon a rollover crash. I couldn’t just keep driving. I grabbed the face shield from my glove box and ran toward the car. The passenger — an elderly woman — was shaken and needed help getting out, so I crawled in the back window and pulled her out safely. Her husband was unconscious. Moving him could have made things worse, so I stayed with him, talked to him, and waited until emergency crews arrived.

That moment reminded me of something I’ll never forget: these skills matter, and they’re needed everywhere.

That’s why I teach. Because the first time you use CPR or First Aid won’t be in a classroom — it might be with someone you love. My mission is to give you the confidence, knowledge, and ability to act when every second counts.

“When someone needs help, I act and I teach you to.”

How You’ll Learn

Calm. Clear. Patient. Fun.

From the moment you walk in, the vibe is chill but ready. Think calm energy, zero judgment, and absolutely no drill-sergeant energy. You get hands-on practice, clear direction, and that “ohhh okay, I got this” feeling that makes all those scary “what ifs” suddenly way less… scary.

Ask all the questions — seriously. There are no dumb ones here. Everything is broken down into simple, practical steps so you leave with real, usable confidence, not just a head full of trivia you’ll forget by lunchtime.

This training is for anybody who wants to be prepared without the panic: parents, grandparents, babysitters, teens, workplaces — basically, if you’re human and you care about humans, you belong in this class.

The goal isn’t to scare you.
The goal is to equip you.

MISSION

To empower everyday people with the confidence, clarity,
and practical skills to step forward in a moment of crisis.

My mission is to make lifesaving education accessible, supportive, and rooted in real-life situations — not fear. Through calm, hands-on guidance, I help you build the courage to act when someone you love needs you most.

VISION

A community where more lives are saved because
people feel ready — not afraid — to step in.

I envision a world where CPR and First Aid knowledge is common, where families feel prepared, and where readiness becomes a shared responsibility. My goal is to create a culture of confidence, compassion, and action that empowers people long after the class ends.

Only 6 in 10 adults feel confident giving CPR — you can be the one who does.

  • I’m mobile! I bring all the equipment to your home, school, workplace, or organization. I also partner with local spaces when needed. You just show up — I handle the rest.

  • It depends on the class. A full in-person CPR/First Aid course is about 5 hours. A blended class (part online, part in-person) takes about 2 hours in class plus the online portion ahead of time.

  • Yes! You’ll leave with official Red Cross certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid.

  • I teach teens, adults, parents, grandparents — anyone who’s strong enough to perform compressions can learn.

  • Mannequins, AED trainers, bandages, face shields, gloves — everything we need to practice safely. You just need the space and the people.

  • Nope — we keep it real, we laugh, and we learn. You’ll leave confident and ready, not stressed out.
